The experience was great. I loved that we got to do some real “grown up” dentistry being only D2 “kids”. I also loved that they let us Tx Plan (point out what we see), make SOAP notes…In short, it was a real-practice experience. I look forward to do it again.
AnonymousThe volunteer experience there at ACDC will continue to be very helpful to my career even without practicing hygiene. I can learn more on infection control, radiographic interpretation, I watched how the doctors established rapport with any patient in their chair, I watched them deal with difficult situations or ones that were not going exactly as planned and how they dealt with the difficulty or change.
